1John 4:19 – 4:21
We love because he first loved us.
If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
WOW! That says it all, don’t you think? It doesn’t say to love the brother that has the right
color of skin, or the brother that can do the most for you. No, it says to love your brother
PERIOD. And if you can’t do that, then you can’t love God. Why? Because God and Jesus
are nothing but love.
This is the time. This is it. There are such atrocities going on in this world right now, today.
People who say they serve God are dehumanizing people for the simple reason that they
don’t want them here. We Americans are very entitled. We say this is OUR land and OUR
resources. Do you want to ask the First Nation people what they think about that?
Brothers and sisters, this is not about any political side anymore, this is about good and evil. What do you think Jesus would say about what we are doing to each other? Do you think He cares what color your skin is or what country you were born in? I wouldn’t want to serve a God that discriminated in such a way. He loves US ALL. He loves every one of the poor souls that are locked up like animals in the concentration camps all around our country just as much He loves you.
Do we love our brother and sister? Do we judge them for any reason? Do we look in the mirror and take care of the plank in our own eye? Do we think more of ourselves than we do our neighbor? Do we seek the Kingdom of Heaven before anything else?
Imagine what kind of world this would be if each and every one of us sought the Kingdom of Heaven, and actually treated each other with love and the way we would want to be treated? Can you imagine?
I have just one question for you, and it’s one that really needs to be pondered and search your soul for an honest, truthful answer:
What do you stand for?
My love to you,
Larryn
